Filcom Slub O-E:

Equipment Electro‐Mechanical and Software of Automatic Control for the production of NORMAL Yarns and SLUB Yarns in the Open-End Rotor spinning machines. Any production parameter of Normal or Slub yarn can be changed without stopping the machine. The yarn count is obtained directly through the touch screen programmer, without the need to change any machine sprocket. With the Open-End rotor spinning machine amazing slub yarns are achieved. Its field of application is very broad, highlighting the use of these yarns in jeans, where special effects are achieved, and home‐textiles. In the electronic field we use the best products of the market, SIEMENS brand, and our system is designed in such a way that we can guarantee that "what is programmed is what you get" throughout the production process.

• The working principle of FILCOM SLUB O-E is based on a Mechanical-Electronic and Software system that controls the intermittent drive of the feeder cylinder that is driven by a Brushless Servomotor.
• The introduction of programmable parameters (yarn count, length, distance between slubs, etc.) is carried out quickly and easily by means of a touch screen colour programmer.

• Due to the random programming of the length between slubs, the yarns obtained are exempt from the "moiré" effect.
• The programmer's memory allows you to store at least 400 programs.
• Optionally the VISUAL SLUB software, designed for a WINDOWS environment, allows user to simulate the effects of the programmed yarn in a bidimensional view of the fabric.
